Question: I am an owner and I want to host a Beacon. What should I do?

Answer:

To host a Beacon, you need to have land and purchase an Ethereal or Mystical pack.

1. Unpacking and Setup

   • Open the package and copy its contents into your inventory.
   • Rez your Beacon first. Note: Only one Beacon is allowed per owner and per region. You can place multiple Beacons, but not in the same region.

2. Adding Budget and Spawning Flowers

   • If you do not add a budget to your Beacon, Flowers will not appear.
   • You can add the budget before or after rezzing your Flowers; both methods work.

3. Rezzing Flowers with the HUD Rezzer

   • Your pack includes a HUD Rezzer (wear it, do not drop it on the ground).
   • Stand where you want a Flower to appear and click on the HUD.
   • The Flower will spawn at your feet. You can move it slightly, but its original position is where it was first rezzed.
   • Repeat this process for each Flower.

4. Flower Limit and Deletion

   • A Beacon can hold up to 100 Flowers.
   • To delete a Flower and free up space in your limit, click on an active Flower and select "Delete." This will permanently remove the Flower from the database and free up a slot.
   • Note: Taking a Flower into your inventory without deleting it through the menu will not remove it from the database and will not free up space.

5. Changing Regions

   • If you change regions, it is recommended to delete your active Flowers before taking them into your inventory.
   • If you simply take your Flowers without deleting them through the menu, they will remain registered under their previous position and will still appear on the website for hunters.
   • After changing regions, you must always rez your Beacon first, then rez the Flowers taken into your inventory. This will update their position and region correctly.
   • If you have no Flowers rezzed yet, you will need to rez new ones to register them in the new region.
